Marcelo continues to make history at Real Madrid. The Brazilian has started his 12th campaign in the white club. He already becomes in the foreigner player with more seasons in the first-team, surpassing Di Stéfano and Roberto Carlos’s 11 campaigns. For matches played, is the second foreigner who more times has worn the white shirt. Only Roberto Carlos (527) overcomes his 408 appearances.

“It’s many years but I give my all every season with my teammates to make the best possible season and win titles”, he said in a press conference at UCLA. His quality on the pitch and leadership in the dressing room make Marcelo Vieira once again a key member in a new season full of challenges.

As a madridista, Marcelo boasts an impressive collection of trophies. Since making his debut in the 2006/07 campaign, he has won three Champions League trophies, two FIFA Club World Cups, two UEFA Super Cup crowns, four La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey trophies and two Spanish Super Cup crowns.
